TrekCore have posted several more comparisons of bluray and DVD shots from TNG season one, highlighting once again what a dramatic improvement in picture quality the forthcoming bluray release will be giving us. It’s also interesting to see that even when completely new effects shots are having to be used, the restoration team seem to be going to great effort to match the look of the old, with crispy new planets matching the overall look of the fuzzy old ones.
